Lymphatic Drainage

Since the lymphatic system is located in the superficial parts of the skin, light pressure is combined with pulsating circular upwards movements, starting at the top of the body and working downwards. The purpose of this technique is to help with the eleimination of excess fluids to aid the body in post operative/injury recovery, and assist in the overall detoxification process to help overcome illness and common colds and flus.

Reflexology

Pressure points on the hands, feet and ears are stimulated to enhance organ function, hormonal balancing and to lessen aches and pains in the body. Consider incorporating some reflexology into your massage treatment.

Sports Massage

With a focus on rehabilitation from sporting injuries and preventing old injuries from 'flaring up', sports massage enhances the bodies nervous and muscular systems through the use of stretch, soft and deep tissue massage and trigger pointing to ease muscle tension.

Acupuncture

Acupunture is an oriental therapy that uses knowledge of the body's meridian points as a means of providing pain relief. Many physiotherapists use acupuncture to complement other forms of treatment. It is an excellent technique for treating musculo-skeletal injuries, back and shoulder pain, shoulder spasms, many forms of arthritis, chronic headaches, chronic pain and post-operative pain.

Remedial Massage

Deep tissue manipulation is used to enhance muscle function and through its repetitive nature, is one of our most relaxing massages. Tailored to the individuals needs this is the perfect massage for de-stressing.
